Discord Server Posting Rules

These rules apply to all Discord servers submitted to or listed in the Core Developments Discord Server Directory. By submitting a server, you agree to follow these requirements.

1. General Requirements

  • You must provide accurate and up-to-date information about your server.
  • You must have permission from the server owner or authorized management to submit a listing.
  • Your server must have a working Discord invite link.
  • Server descriptions must clearly explain the purpose and content of the community.
  • You may not impersonate another server, organization, business, or individual.
  • Submissions must be placed in the appropriate category.

2. Prohibited Listings

The following listings are not permitted:
  • Servers promoting scams, phishing, fraud, or malicious software.
  • Servers distributing stolen accounts, credentials, or confidential information without authorization.
  • Servers dedicated to harassment, targeted abuse, or threats.
  • Servers advertising illegal goods or services.
  • Servers containing deceptive, misleading, or fraudulent advertisements.
  • Servers created to evade Discord enforcement or the Core Developments directory rules.
  • Listings containing malicious links or misleading invite URLs.
Core Developments may reject listings that pose a security risk or violate these rules.

3. Advertising and Self-Promotion

  • Only advertise the server being submitted.
  • Do not submit duplicate listings to increase visibility.
  • Do not misrepresent your server’s member count, activity, features, or reputation.
  • Do not use another server’s name, logo, or branding without authorization.
  • Do not spam listing requests or repeatedly resubmit rejected content.
  • Any paid promotion or sponsored placement must be clearly identified where applicable.

4. Listing Accuracy

Every submission must include:
  • Server name
  • Server description
  • Discord invite link
  • Relevant category
  • Server owner or authorized representative
Server icons, banners, and other media must be appropriate and must not infringe on others’ rights. You are responsible for keeping your listing accurate. If your server changes its purpose, ownership, or invite link, update your listing through the available support process.

5. Verification

  • Verification is determined by Core Developments.
  • A listing must not claim to be verified unless that status has been granted.
  • Verification does not mean Core Developments owns, operates, or endorses the server.
  • Core Developments may recheck listings when necessary.
  • Verification may be withdrawn if a listing no longer meets the requirements.

6. Enforcement

Depending on the severity and circumstances of a violation, Core Developments may:
  • Reject a submission.
  • Request corrections to a listing.
  • Temporarily hide a listing while reviewing a report.
  • Remove a listing.
  • Restrict future submissions from a responsible submitter.
Serious security concerns may result in immediate removal. Enforcement decisions should be based on the available information and the circumstances of the case.

7. Reporting a Listing

If you believe a listed server violates these rules, contact Core Developments through its official support channels. Include the listing name, relevant evidence, and an explanation of the concern. Do not submit false or intentionally misleading reports.

8. Changes to These Rules

Core Developments may update these rules when necessary. Continued participation in the directory is subject to the current published requirements.
