Core Developments may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will indicate the effective date of any update at the top of this page. Your continued use of Core Developments services after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

10. Discord Account Linking and Email Addresses

Core Developments lets you link your Discord account to Core Developments using Discord’s official sign-in. When you link your account, we receive and store:

• Your Discord user ID and username
• The email address on your Discord account
• The date and time you linked your account

We never receive your Discord password. How we use your email address:

• To identify your linked account and help you recover it
• To send important account, safety, and policy notices, such as changes to these terms
• To respond to support requests, appeals, and data requests

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties, and we do not send advertising or marketing emails. Your email is only shared when we are legally required to, as described in our Terms of Service. Unlinking: you can unlink your account and ask us to delete your email address and linked data at any time by emailing admin@coredevelopments.org. You can also remove Core Developments from Discord Settings > Authorized Apps.

11. Message Monitoring and Self-Harm Safety

Our Discord bots, including Banana, process messages in servers where they are added. We use this to run bot features like automod and anti-spam, and to help improve how our bots work. Self-harm safety flags: messages that may mention self-harm or suicide are automatically flagged. If you are struggling, please call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) any time for free, confidential support. Your messages are protected:

• Parents, guardians, schools, school staff, and other users cannot see your messages, our servers, or any of our logs.
• We do not report you to the police or anyone else just because you talked about self-harm or are going through a hard time. You can be honest with us.
• Flagged messages are kept private and are deleted when no longer needed.
